Today I call out for all Americans to take heed for we are being attacked on all fronts. The very meaning of what it is to be an American is being distorted. The very structure that has established our freedom and liberty is being removed stone by stone. Today, Lady Justice's scales have tilted where unfair laws are being passed without question. Even Lady Liberty's torch is dimming as the gateway of opportunity closes on us all. The people are overwhelmed through over taxation as disparity grips the land. The wealthy are uprooting the industries and even the factories that gave us prosperity have abandoned us for faraway lands. It is as if though darkness has fallen upon our great land and has left us in poverty. The corruption of our leaders has devastated the spirit of America. Even freedom of speech is being restrained or abused and the freedom to just be oneself is no more. I look upon the masses and they seem dazed and confused. Hope is being devoured by hopelessness while filling our hearts with despair. I cry out to the people "Do you not see what is happening?" and so many reply "it is useless for they have taken our voice." How have so many people simply given up without a fight? For I know I do not stand alone. I have heard those who valiantly cried out "They are trampling on our constitutional rights!" Our nation has become fractured as the people are divided. We must all open our eyes for evil deeds have gone unseen for far too long! Hatred has filled our hearts to turn brother against brother. We must realize a divided people can be easily controlled. Even the truth has been distorted to poison the minds of us all. I say no more, for we must rise to unravel this beastly tongue to bring honor back. No longer shall we carry hate in our heart for it only brings sadness. Let us carry hope and valor like a shield as we vigorously fight to bring back morals and Christian principles.
