As the adage goes: the journey of a thousand miles begins with a correct step in the right direction. I commenced the writing of this book having given it a thought to produce one that will leave an imprint in the sand of time. Hence, the chief purpose of this book is to provide an exhaustive treatment of adsorption processes from a chemical engineering viewpoint as a unit operation and chemical kinetics, intended for teaching, learning and research purposes.
