Reseña del libro "Volume 2 — The Deeper Disciplines of the Saja: Meekness, Patience, Peace, Self-Control (Saja Martial Arts) (en Inglés)"
Strength is not measured by how much power you possess, but by how faithfully you learn to govern it. The Saja Martial Virtues — Volume 2 continues the journey of forming martial artists into warrior-disciples of Jesus Christ. Building on the foundations established in Volume 1, this volume turns toward the inner disciplines required to govern our reactions, submit our strength, endure the process, and develop character stronger than technique. Created for students and instructors of Saja Martial Arts, Volume 2 can also be used by Christian martial arts schools, families, ministries, and individual martial artists seeking to intentionally unite martial training with biblical discipleship. This volume explores four essential virtues: Patience — learning to endure, wait, and trust God’s timing. Meekness — discovering that true power is strength submitted to God’s authority. Self-Control — developing mastery over our impulses, emotions, words, and actions. Peace — becoming a steady presence in a world shaped by conflict, fear, and disorder. Each virtue is explored through 24 Scripture-centered lessons, progressing through Foundations, Practice, and Testing. Every lesson includes biblical teaching, martial arts application, reflection, a Focus Verse, a practical Dustprint Challenge, and prayer. The lessons are designed for the dojang, but they are meant to travel far beyond it. Because eventually every martial artist discovers that the most difficult opponent is not standing across the mat. It is the impatience within us. The pride that wants recognition. The anger that demands control. The impulse that acts before wisdom speaks. The fear that disturbs our peace. The Christian martial artist trains for something greater than physical mastery. We train so that strength can be restrained, power can be submitted, and our lives can increasingly reflect the character of Christ. A belt can reveal how long you have trained. Character reveals who you have become. Train the body. Discipline the spirit. Shape the warrior. Bold in Faith. Fierce in Spirit.
