Cyber bullying has become rampant in the society today due to the widespread use of social media and other technologies. This is leading to social and psychological effects. It is used to refer to the use of social media websites such as Facebook or Twitter to humiliate, harass, or threaten another person. It is an aggressive actions that occur through electronic means by an individual or a group of people in a disrespectful, demeaning, and/or repeated manner, over any duration of time on an individual or a group lacks a means of defending against the vice. In this case, cyber bullies sent and posted unwarranted comments connected to a gun violence tragedy. The post was read and understood to be in-sensitive and harassing because a family member wished to secure funeral arrangements before publicly announcing the death to the WORLD. In many cases, post are harassing or threatening messages that are associated with hate, sexual orientation, sex, judgment or race. For example, an unwelcome comment may sound like this: "I warned you, your bad just like my brother-- now, REST in your (deceased) mothers arms," as a statement. A Cyber bully may use pictures that are provocative, violent, or abusive to an individual or group. Cyber bullying is a common phenomenon in modern society due to advancements in technology.
