Jim was never the person to be worried about worldly affairs and how it may have an effect on him until recently. Jim noticed there were a lot of disasters and rioting going on all over the world. Jim's friends had once mentioned to him about how prepared he was in the event of an emergency, but blew it off, believing that America's borders were safe and secure. What got Jim to thinking, was the events that happened during the Katrina incident and how long it took for the people effected to get help. Jim wondered how long he could hold out until help arrived. Jim mentioned this to a friend who was into being prepared for unforeseen events that may result in one having to defend for themselves. Jim was told that he needed to rely on his own preparedness, because the government would likely not be there to bail him out in times of disasters. With the help of a few good friends that were knowledgeable in the areas of prepping for disasters and survival techniques, Jim began a slow journey from being a novice to becoming an educated Prepper. This book will show you what it takes to be minimally prepared by addressing some of the following topics: -What is meant by bugging in verses bugging out? -What is a bug-out bag and what are the minimum items that should be in it? -What food supplies you should stock up and how to properly stock them? -What are caches? -How to protect yourself and your family This book covers many more topics, some of which you may have been wondering about over the years. También se desempeña como director de su Instituto Hemisférico de las Américas.
