Reseña del libro "Sundown Apocalypse 3: Homeland Defense (en Inglés)"
It is the end of days. The biblical Apocalypse of St John has arrived and small bands of survivors struggle against the ruthless Revelationist terrorists in the harsh Australian desert. The 'house rat' city survivors set out to join Sundown's Commando on the edge of the Simpson Desert. Armoured Cavalry Sergeant Nulla, and his motley group find the trek to sanctuary is not as safe as they'd hoped. The teenagers, forced to defend their friends against a brutal assault, show maturity beyond their years. Confronted with annihilation they react with a ferocious savagery of their own. But the city dwellers have no time to settle, their dream sanctuary is shattered when disaster strikes the commando. Set in the city of Adelaide and the harsh Australian desert - accompany Sundown and his commando to Alice Springs, Birdsville, Mt Isa, Mungerannie and Marree as the commando seek to survive any way they can. This is Book 3 of the 'Sundown Apocalypse' series. Also in this series: Book 1: 'Sundown Apocalypse' Book 2: 'Sundown Apocalypse 2: Urban Guerrilla' Book 4: 'Sundown Apocalypse 4: Desert Strike' If you enjoyed Devon C Ford's 'After it Happened' series then this is the series for you - hard-hitting, fast-paced adventure without the fluff. "This is an outstanding series... am waiting with baited breath to get all of the books. An outstanding wordsmith...each page jumps alive as you read. Keep up the great work!" GA"What a refreshing, exciting, fast paced, action novel that shows the possible realities of the near future. Lots of gun fighting and sudden battles blend with full bodied characters that will stir your heartstrings. Leo Nix has the ability to write most convincing dialogue and is kind enough to add an explanation at the end for those who don't speak Aussie. His world building is superb, giving the reader the opportunity to experience the outback. With all the groups coming together love blooms as well as the desert after rain. In this book I laughed, snickered, cried and sighed. That's pretty darn good for a post-apocalyptic novel." KayM
