Reverend Lingguang Grace Song, known affectionately to her followers as Pastor Grace, is a naturalized Chinese American and a fourth generation Christian. Having come to age during China's Cultural Revolution and a graduate of the Nanjing Theological Seminary, she speaks personally and eloquently about the Chinese Christian mission, with incredible insight and intellect. After immigrating to the United States, the good reverend served at a Chinese American church in Berkeley, California and across other congregations and hospitals as a minister and chaplain throughout the Bay Area. With her blessing, Song's Book of Sermons, both in English and Chinese, were compiled together by her friends and followers. Her sermons are lyrical, inspiring, and cathartic to read in times of suffering. They are aimed at Chinese American Christians, but can be equally meaningful to all Christians. Pastor Grace relays Biblical interpretation and the teachings of Jesus Christ with compassion and lucidity, rendering Song's Book of Sermons a powerful and timeless companion work to the Holy Book.
