Joe wife could not stop him from maintaining his promise to Ann. Moreover, since Ann could not stand the possibility of losing Joe to another woman, better yet, his wife, she engaged in other relationship for distraction until Joe - In this novel, an independent woman found herself looking for love and happiness in the wrong places by engaging in secret affairs in other to feel fulfill.
