Plant physiology relates with the functioning of the plants. Very few attempts have been made to reveal the closeness as well as farness among the closely plant taxa on the basis of plant physiology. The first insight look and importance has been given to the external morphology from the beginning of the plant identification, classification and nomenclature. Nowadays by the evolutionary emergence in molecular studies the plant's similarities and relationships can be well studied with the help of recent molecular techniques. But mean while in the same study somewhat negligence has been made to other basic branches of botany such as plant ecology, plant physiology and others. The sincere efforts and aim behind writing of this book is to focus the importance of physiological studies with respects to various aspects to shorten the confusion gaps and to reveal the results which will be useful in addition to the taxonomic studies, molecular studies during the certain conflicts arise at the time of proper identification.
