Reseña del libro "Rightly Divided (en Inglés)"
What if the deep things of God were never meant to be reserved for scholars?Scripture calls every believer to rightly divide the word of truth. Yet most of us were handed conclusions long before we were ever taught how to study, how to ask a question honestly, or how to sit with that question until the text itself answers it.RIGHTLY DIVIDED: From Intimacy to the Deep Things of God is a thirteen-chapter anthology written by apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, ministers, reverends, chaplains, and scholars who have done the work of study without losing the warmth of relationship. Each contributor takes a subject the church often rushes past and slows it down: prayer, grief, endurance, mercy, healing, anxiety, discernment, the unseen realm, and the days we are living in.The book moves the way discipleship actually moves. It begins with intimacy, because interpretation without relationship becomes mere information. It ends in the deep places, because relationship without study leaves a believer unprepared. Between those two points, thirteen voices show you what it looks like to handle Scripture with integrity, to read it inside its own historical and cultural world, and to let the text say what it actually says.Inside this volumeIntimacy Before Interpretation: Encountering the Living Word, Dr. Jessica VealeTeach Us to Pray, Dr. Abdul ReinberryJesus Wept, Too: Unmasking the Doctrine of Emotionless Christianity, Dr. Taliyba ReinberryWhen Faith Is All You Have, Dr. Angie BEEYou Are Enough Because Christ Is Enough, Dr. Amber MillerImagine: Being Anxious for Nothing, Dr. Marlo ShawStrength to Stay the Course: The Architecture of Endurance and the Plumb Line of the Soul, Dr. Treal RavenelWhen Mercy Offends: Rightly Dividing the Book of Jonah, Dr. Rosemarlyn GibsonRightly Dividing Healing and Grace, Dr. Fanta BlackThe Compass, Not the Cage, Dr. Thomas EvansDisembodied Spirits, Dr. Tish ShearerKeeping the Faith in the End Times, Dr. Monique RogersSurviving the Wilderness: Discerning Times and Seasons Through God's Divine Calendar, Dr. Destinee BrownThis book is for you ifYou love God and want to study Scripture with more depth than a devotional allowsYou carry questions your church has treated as unwelcomeYou teach, preach, or lead, and you want to handle the text responsiblyYou are ready to move from simply being taught to being genuinely equippedCompiled by Dr. Latisha "Tish" Shearer, DMIN, founder and Chancellor of Enoch Ascension Christian University, this volume is written to be read straight through, taught from, or used as a companion for small groups and Bible study.Rightly dividing is not about winning arguments.
