In T.C. Barrera's debut poetry book, Raging Meditations, he explores themes such as addiction, recovery, regret, mental health, cognitive dissonance, internet brain rot, testicular cancer scares, political unrest, the generational identity crisis, and the evils of self-checkout. An unflinching, unafraid collection of 101 poems, the collection is split in three parts: RAGING, a hands-in-blenders tryst with addiction and its effects on the mind and spirit; AFTERMATH, the war that is waged with the walk towards recovery; and, MEDITATIONS, the ensuing clear-headed exploration of a mad world that seems to only be getting madder.
