Statement of the Research Problem Anger is universal emotions that are found in all cultures. This is one of the most common behavioural problems that are causing inconvenience and distress among youth and those around them. "Uncontrolled anger," adversely influence both adaptation and adjustment of any human being with outside environment. Inability to manage anger can disturb interpersonal relationships. If this strong emotion is not properly harnessed, it can brutally terrorize optimal functioning of individuals, groups and communities including criminal populations in society. Statistics indicated that in the last few decades, anger and aggression has taken upper hand in manipulating human behaviour especially, people with anti-social minds. Empirical evidence has demonstrated the negative effects of anger in human relationships. Sometimes antisocial behaviour and rage are implications and consequences of anger, which influence individual to indulge in various brutal offenses, which indirectly convert them in to a criminal. Outbursts of anger land plenty of people in prison, and daily life behind bars provides opportunities to lose temper more often. Various studies on anger management have held anger responsible for the occurrences of violent crime among criminals. 1.2. Rational of the Study The rational for using Anger management techniques in the present study involves, understanding in controlling criminal's reactions to anger-provoking situations, including the emotional feelings of anger, the physiological arousal associated with anger which results in angry behaviour. Anger management techniques used in the present research throw emphasis in developing more self-awareness, self-control and increase understanding of anger sensation in criminal behaviour. By making a criminal more aware of the underlying thought process that leads to provocation and physiological arousal, angry reactions can be minimized. This will enable criminals to avoid aggressive behaviour in certain circumstances, which in turn can reduce crime in society,
