Dr. Prentiss C. Spivey had a great passion for lost souls. After graduating from International Bible College, some of his great missionary friends, David Underwood and Dr. James E. Hardison introduced him to the mission work in West Africa. He made his first trip there in 1980. There he saw a tremendous need to preach the gospel to the lost. During one of his trips a school was established in his name, "Prentiss C. Spivey Christian School." Because of the increase in students, the name of the school has been changed to "Prentiss C. Spivey Elementary/Junior High School." We are blessed here in America to go to high school free of charge. In West Africa it cost $30.00 per student per school year. Let is not take our blessings for granted.
