Reseña del libro "Line Drawings (en Inglés)"
The artist had an amazing time creating the drawings for this book. He had a black Ford Econoline van, and he used to just drive anywhere, to the library, to panera, to fast food restaurants, wa-ho, or just wherever, and just show up and do one or two drawings. "It was like there was an opening, or a window, or an amount of time when I could do a drawing or two in 2b pencil. I had little awe2u.com magnets on all sides of the van. I dedicated Line Drawings to Grace and Carl, because they are good to me, and good people, and they take care of one another. We watched Woodstock together over chicken parm TV dinners and wine. Other times, I would drive around and work on the drawings. When I was at the place doing my thing, I would occasionally glance around at people, and sort of just chill with them. Being around people in social environments helped me draw when I was doing this book, Line Drawings. It was like I would get new ideas and inspiration from the people there for that moment when I was moving the pencil. I kept the pencil moving without stopping, too." -@stevenyessick1 A lot of the drawings in Line Drawings take place in museums, and some are a response to the television lifestyle. Some of them have to do with food, a lot of them have characters, people, animals etc... in them, some refer to other types of art, and more. "It's definitely fun to be an author. It's fun to be able to do many different types of things along the way through creativity, and to be open to improvisation, too. I'm enjoying this. I hope you are as well. Thanks!" -@stevenyessick1
