One event, for example, was a Christian retreat the family took to enjoy the sights and sounds of the outdoors, as well as grow closer to God. However, the simplicity of nature was soon interrupted when the youngest, Joey, found himself wedged in a swing. Though he was freed, it was a moment to laugh about later as a family. Needless to say, shoes were lost, patience levels were tested, and someone had a meltdown over ice cream after a long hot day.
