Isabel Pin, nacida en Versalles en 1975, es una destacada autora e ilustradora de literatura infantil. Hija de madre alemana y padre francés, estudió ilustración en la École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Estrasburgo y en la Hochschule für Gestaltung de Hamburgo. Actualmente reside en Berlín y ha publicado sus obras en más de 20 países.

Entre sus obras más destacadas se encuentran "Si yo fuera un león" (2009), "Un día conmigo" (2013) y "El pequeño agujero" (2014). Estas publicaciones han sido reconocidas por su capacidad para conectar con los niños y fomentar la lectura. En 2011, Isabel Pin fue nominada al Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award (ALMA), uno de los premios más prestigiosos en el ámbito de la literatura infantil y juvenil
