Words pale into insignificance compared to the color and glow of thisnatural stone.I have followed one standard practice which has been used for generations to give youan idea of the potential beauty of Holley Blue Agate: lapidary artists will often wetdifferent stones and rocks with water ... to give a better visual approximation of what thestone could look like if it is ground smooth and polished. The wet stone reveals manydetails of the colors which can tend to be hidden in the dry condition. So, I havepresented several of the different samples shown in this collection in their dry conditionand then in a water-wetted condition, with the same lighting and approximate position.No other manipulation of the images has been performed.Enjoy.And when the occasion arises, take the opportunity to add a few raw or polishedpieces of Holley Blue Agate to your personal rock and gem collection
