Reseña del libro "Grade 6-7 Math Made Fun (en Inglés)"
Help your child make the important transition from arithmetic to confident algebraic and proportional thinking.Grade 6-7 Math Made Fun gives learners 100 hands-on activities designed to strengthen integers, rational numbers, ratios, rates, percents, expressions, equations, geometry, statistics, probability, and real-world problem-solving skills.Part of the NumberBloom series, this book helps students move beyond simply finding answers. Through number lines, models, tables, graphs, hands-on investigations, and practical situations, learners begin to understand why mathematical relationships work and how different ideas connect.Students are encouraged to model problems, recognize patterns, choose strategies, make predictions, explain their reasoning, and check their results.INSIDE YOU'LL FIND 100 ACTIVITIES COVERING: - Positive and negative integers- Absolute value and opposites- Operations with integers- Rational numbers- Fractions and decimals- Factors, multiples, and prime factorization- Ratios and equivalent ratios- Unit rates and proportional relationships- Fractions, decimals, and percents- Percent increase and decrease- Discounts, tax, tips, and markup- Simple interest- Scale drawings and maps- Variables and expressions- The distributive property- Equivalent expressions- One-step and two-step equations- Inequalities- Input-output tables and algebraic rules- Coordinate planes and linear patterns- Area, surface area, and volume- Angle relationships- Statistical questions and data sets- Mean, median, range, and variability- Dot plots, histograms, and box plots- Experimental and theoretical probability- Multi-step real-world problem solvingFOUR PROGRESSIVE LEVELS BUILD SKILLS STEP BY STEP: LEVEL 1 - INTEGERS, RATIONAL NUMBERS & NUMBER RELATIONSHIPSBuild fluency with positive and negative numbers, rational numbers, fractions, decimals, factors, multiples, and number relationships.LEVEL 2 - RATIOS, RATES, PERCENTS & PROPORTIONAL THINKINGDevelop proportional reasoning through ratios, unit rates, percents, discounts, tax, scale drawings, and real-world applications.LEVEL 3 - EXPRESSIONS, EQUATIONS & EARLY ALGEBRATurn arithmetic patterns into algebraic thinking through variables, expressions, equations, inequalities, coordinate graphs, and linear patterns.LEVEL 4 - GEOMETRY, STATISTICS, PROBABILITY & PROBLEM SOLVINGApply mathematics through area, volume, angles, data displays, measures of center and variability, probability, and multi-step challenges.Every activity includes Skills & Goals, Materials, How to Play, Why This Matters, and a NumberBloom Tip, giving parents and educators a clear framework for supporting learning.PERFECT FOR: - Grade 6 and Grade 7 students- Homeschool families- Extra math practice at home- Parents, teachers, tutors, and caregivers- Hands-on and visual learners- Screen-free learning- Strengthening math confidence- Preparing for pre-algebra and more advanced mathematicsAs math becomes increasingly abstract, NumberBloom keeps important ideas visual, practical, and understandable. Learners are encouraged not only to solve problems, but to explain relationships, test strategies, recognize patterns, and understand the mathematics behind their answers.Build the skills. Understand the math. Grow the confidence.Learn It. Build It. Play It. Master It.NumberBloom - Growing Confident Math Thinkers.
