Reseña del libro "Golf Kid (en Inglés)"

Jake Calloway knows he loves golf. Now he has to find out how far he wants to take it.After helping Millbrook win the regional championship, Jake enters the county junior series with a new goal: to see just how good he can become. Soon he is counting everything: scores, rankings, practice hours and the players ahead of him. But the harder Jake pushes, the more golf begins to take up space meant for other things. And golf isn't the only thing changing. Tyler is tired of coming second to practice. Grandpa Sal's good days are becoming less predictable. And Connor, who knows better than anyone what happens when golf becomes about proving yourself, can see where Jake might be heading. With the County Junior Championship approaching and only twelve players making the cut, Jake has to learn that ambition is not the problem. The hard part is knowing what deserves your attention, and when a number is just a number. Golf Kid: The Cut is a warm, funny story about ambition, friendship, family and learning that wanting more doesn't mean wanting everything. The third book in the Golf Kid series by Mike Stanton. Perfect for readers aged 8-12, reluctant readers, junior golfers, and anyone learning that success is about more than where you finish.
