Tonya Hurley es una escritora y directora estadounidense nacida en Uniontown, Pensilvania. Es reconocida por su trabajo en literatura juvenil, especialmente por la serie Ghostgirl, cuyo primer libro, ¿Descanse en paz?, fue publicado en 2008. La serie incluye títulos como El regreso (2009), Loca por amor (2010), Canción de Navidad (2012) y Día de muertos (2013).
