My Name is Snowball and I am the eldest member of a large family of Gerbils who live with our pet human, who we call Lazy because while we all run round our wheels, dig tunnels and build nests, he just sits and watches. He rarely moves from his sofa except to go to his water bottle or food bowl.I have been living here with lazy for 3yrs now and although he treats us all very well and I am as content as any Gerbil could hope to be, when I first came to meet Lazy he had a lot of bad habits and didn't always know how to look after me properly.The problem was like most lazy humans he didn't ask my opinion he just bought some books about us and asked the people in the big Gerbil factory about what he should do. So after chatting with my friends Mr Gray and Nelly, we decided that we should help Lazy out by writing this guide to us Gerbils so that he can share the information with his other human friends.
