Reseña del libro "Echoborn (en Inglés)"
Sound remembers what people bury.In Verdantia, sound is more than something heard. Every rustle of leaves, every footstep, every voice, and every silence carries traces of memory, emotion, and possibility. Most people move through those echoes without ever noticing them. Eleven-year-old Reso cannot.Reso has always heard the world differently. Beneath ordinary sounds, he senses hidden rhythms and fragments that seem to belong to places, people, and moments long gone. What once felt like an unusual gift begins to change when strange disturbances spread through the forest settlement he calls home.As Reso's abilities grow stronger, he and his closest friends, Hector and Samin, are pulled into a mystery surrounding resonance, forgotten history, and forces that have remained buried beneath Verdantia for generations. Familiar places begin to feel unfamiliar. Old stories no longer sound complete. The adults around them seem to know more than they are willing to say.Reso soon realizes that what he hears may be connected to something much larger than himself. Powerful figures are watching. Ancient forces are stirring. And the deeper he listens, the harder it becomes to separate the truth from the echoes left behind by those who came before him.But understanding his gift may come with a cost. Reso must decide who to trust, what to believe, and whether some secrets were hidden to protect Verdantia-or to control it.Along the way, friendship becomes as important as power. Hector's bold instincts, Samin's careful thinking, and the bonds connecting the people of Verdantia give Reso something to hold onto as the world around him begins to shift.Echoborn: Verdantia Horizon - The Notes You Cannot Hear is the first installment in the Echoborn series, an original fantasy adventure blending coming-of-age storytelling, mystery, friendship, hidden history, and a sound-based system of supernatural power. At its heart is a story about memory, identity, truth, and the question of what happens when a child begins hearing the things an entire world has learned not to hear.Book One of the Echoborn series.
