Even if they were alive, it seems that Dodos would not tell tales, as is evident in one of the original short stories written by G. B. Andrade (perhaps they do not want to be compared to the rats that drove them to extinction.) Inspired by life, travel, observation and a vivid imagination, many stories were written while pretending to take notes during his Master's degree, on napkins and beer coasters in coffee shops and an ever present pocket notebook. From a fifteen page romantic comedy on a Blind Date gone wrong, to three paragraphs inspired by a friend's death G. B. Andrade writes with the attitude that it is not the quantity of words that matter, but their quality. Dodos, charging elephants, four girls in very different places, a man on the run, a boy and his rock, and a knight who simply can't get a break, are some of the characters that bring together this collection of dark comedy, suspense, crime thriller, and travel writing.
