Now, he was a pariah, shunned by all, forbidden to touch another patient. But things were more loose on Mars. There, Doc Feldman was welcomed by the colonists, even as he was hunted by the authorities. But, when he discovered that a dreadful Martian plague might soon wipe out humanity on two planets, Feldman found himself a pivotal figure. War erupted. Earth was poised to utterly wipe out the Mars colony. A cure to the plague was the price of peace, and only Feldman could find it.
