Reseña del libro "Conqueror"

It has been four years since the defeat of the evil tyrant Balthasar, and Thalen has known peace with the rebuilding of its kingdom and a daring new and freer government. Yet from across the Great Sea, there comes a new and greater danger than the kingdom of Thalen has ever known, strange invaders with seemingly endless numbers and strange new weapons bent on conquering the fledgling new kingdom before it can begin to thrive. Can Cyrus rally his kingdom, along with that of Marchland and Karamandor, to save themselves from a new tyranny, all without becoming a tyrant himself? Conqueror is the sequel toTyrant, a story about love and loss, freedom and tyranny, selfishness and redemption, a story set in a medieval time in a fictional land with people not unlike ours, discovering their own ways and forging their own paths with factions who fight for their own ends. New characters come forth in this story, and some things and people are irrevocably changed, with technology advancing and the nature of existence questioned as the three kingdoms are forever altered by powers they could never before have surmised. Yet through it all, ideals as simple as courage, wisdom and love dare those great enough to rise above the basest forms of human greed, lust and hatred in a relentless power struggle for empires as well as individual souls, one as old as mankind itself.
