Nia von Eisenwald, the former software engineer turned Empress, has executed the final patch: a global reboot that purged the god-virus from reality itself. In doing so, she saved humanity from extinction, but stripped the world of magic, shattered the old order, and left behind a civilization suddenly forced to survive without miracles.
