CAPTURING the lost woman is book two in The Lost Woman trilogy. The series is essentially a modern day Romance, with a strong story, supported by erotica. Directed at the Fifty Shades of Grey market, this series extends the world of female erotica by using themes of women taking control of their lives, financially, emotionally and sexually. Book two continues the art, architecture, design, fashion and food content of book one, but with an emphasis on the power of media and the notion of escaping the pressures of modern day life. The action takes place in Los Angeles, New York, inner city Melbourne and the Tasmanian wilderness. Book two is 85,000 words. Book one, AWAKENING the lost woman, saw the transformation of Christina from a dowdy housewife to a rich and successful, blogger, fashion designer and business woman. We leave her thinking she has found love, only to be rudely rejected by the man who stole her heart. CAPTURING the lost woman sees Christina visiting America where her business expands beyond her wildest dreams. Amongst the success she receives some pertinent advice; 'Find someone to share the journey with.' 'Find a life away from work.' 'Find a place to escape to.' 'And lastly, have fun... ' Back in Melbourne things don't go to plan. Christina becomes so driven she fails to see her personal life falling apart around her. Her close friends tell her she needs to take time out. She heads to Tasmania hoping time on the remote island will give her the space needed to clear her head, and to think about how she might act on the wise words given by her American friends. Unexpectedly she finds herself in the wilderness and is forced to seriously contemplate what her future might hold. 'Getting away from it all' might not be the answer. Beware of what you wish for...
