'Binaural Songbook' is a selection of the song lyrics of poet and songwriter John F B Tucker who has started and fronted 5 unsuccessful bands down the years including one who recorded on binaural earphones on the Cambridge, chalk grassland floor. The songs are about a wide variety of things such as Secret Chord H as metaphor for something experiential, foresight of September 11th, a vision of colourful smoke, stealing the Beatles, a drug called Strictly Free and that's just within the first handful of lyrics presented. Tucker has set himself the disciplined task of making a book that reads well where everything also has a concomitant guitar part and succeeded. The result is a mini classic.
