Lincoln Child es un autor estadounidense nacido el 13 de octubre de 1957 en Westport, Connecticut. Es conocido por sus novelas de thriller y techno-thriller, muchas de ellas coescritas con Douglas Preston. Antes de dedicarse a la escritura, trabajó como editor en St. Martin's Press, donde fundó la división de horror de la editorial. Posteriormente, se desempeñó como analista de sistemas en MetLife hasta que su primera novela, "The Relic" (1995), escrita junto a Preston, le permitió dedicarse a tiempo completo a la literatura.

Entre sus obras más destacadas se encuentran "The Cabinet of Curiosities" (2002) y "La danza de la muerte" (2005), ambas coescritas con Preston y pertenecientes al género thriller. Además, ha desarrollado la serie protagonizada por el profesor Jeremy Logan, que incluye títulos como "La habitación olvidada" (2015). Douglas Preston es un escritor y periodista estadounidense nacido el 26 de mayo de 1956 en Cambridge, Massachusetts. Es conocido por sus novelas de suspense y techno-thriller, muchas de ellas coescritas con Lincoln Child. Antes de dedicarse a la escritura, trabajó como editor en el Museo Americano de Historia Natural en Nueva York y enseñó escritura de no ficción en la Universidad de Princeton. Además, ha colaborado con artículos sobre arqueología y antropología para la revista The New Yorker.

Entre sus obras más destacadas se encuentran "El ídolo perdido" (1995) y "El relicario" (1997), ambas coescritas con Lincoln Child y pertenecientes al género de suspense. También es autor de "La ciudad perdida del dios mono" (2017), una obra de no ficción que narra la búsqueda de una legendaria ciudad en Honduras.
