Reseña del libro "APPLIED FRACTIONAL-ORDER MODEL ANALYSIS OF MALARIA DYNAMICS: A Fractional Modeling Techniques of Malaria with Public Health ControlStrategies.DE (en Inglés)"

This book presents the sensitivity analysis and application of the Laplace-Adomian Decomposition Method (LADM) in solving a fractional-order malaria model using Caputo-fractional derivative. A deterministic compartmental model that describes the transmission dynamics of malaria, leading to a system of eight ordinary differential equations was developed . Fundamental analyses of the model, including the invariant region and the positivity of solutions, are investigated. The disease-free equilibrium is found to be locally stable when the basic reproduction number is less than 1 and unstable otherwise, as determined using the next-generation matrix method. Approximate solutions for the fractional-order model are obtained as an infinite series using LADM, which converges rapidly to the exact solution under suitable conditions. To incorporate real-world malaria dynamics, parameter estimation is performed using MATLAB's fmincon algorithm using real life data of malaria obtained from existing literature. LADM combines the Laplace Transform and the Adomian Decomposition Method.
