Fortunately, one adult, Ricky's mom, stays solid throughout.What Ricky and Suzie discover is raw...it is painful, and the pain leads to a life where it is okay to be real. And, consequences happen, and they can bring out anger, revenge, and resentment. Ricky and Suzie finally discover that sometimes all you have, is doing the right thing...doing the right thing by your family...your friends and oneself. And that includes a big dose of forgiveness.
