Es escritora de ficción y ensayista, y se licenció en Ciencias de la información en el Emerson College. Su primera novela, Por siempre, unidos, fue definida como «uno de los 11 debuts que adoramos» por Kirkus reviews. Actualmente vive en Los Angeles con su esposo, Alex, y su perro, Rabbit."
