Then follow Measure for Measure and the 1609 poem A Lover's Complaint before commentaries on the Tragedy Macbeth, the History Henry VIII and the Comedy Twelfth Night. Using their inherent philosophy obviates traditional speculation about authorship, assigning parts to other dramatists, and thousands of unnecessary emendations and alterations.
