Jamie Sams (1951) es una escritora y pintora estadounidense de ascendencia cherokee, séneca y francesa, residente en Santa Fe, Nuevo México. Nieta de la escritora séneca Twyla Nitsch, ha dedicado su vida a preservar y compartir la sabiduría de las tradiciones nativas americanas.

Entre sus obras más destacadas se encuentra "Las cartas de la medicina" (1988), coescrita con David Carson, un método de adivinación basado en la sabiduría de los pueblos indígenas norteamericanos. Otra obra relevante es "Las cartas del camino sagrado" (1990), que profundiza en enseñanzas espirituales nativas. Ambas pertenecen al género de espiritualidad y crecimiento personal, enfocándose en la conexión con la naturaleza y el autoconocimiento.
