Ken Liu es un autor de ciencia ficción y fantasía nacido en la ciudad china de Lanzhou, pero afincado desde los 11 años en Estados Unidos, país cuya nacionalidad ostenta.

Por sus relatos ha recibido importantes galardones del género.
