Su obra más conocida es la serie The Bone Season, iniciada en 2013 y planeada como una saga de siete libros. Además, escribió la aclamada novela The Priory of the Orange Tree y su precuela A Day of Fallen Night, ambas dentro del universo Roots of Chaos.
