Shelley Parker-Chan es una autora asiaticoaustraliana que escribe novelas de fantasía. Reside en Melbourne, Australia, junto a su familia.

Antes de empezar a escribir Parker-Chan fue diplomática y consejera de desarrollo internacional. Durante casi una década trabajó en pro de los derechos humanos, la igualdad de género y los derechos del colectivo LGTBIQ+ en el Sudeste Asiático.

Inspirada por los mitos griegos, las leyendas artúricas y los relatos chinos llenos de sufrimiento, tragedia y romance, la autora escribió su primera novela, Ella que llegó a ser el Sol. Se trata de una obra de fantasía histórica que reimagina la llegada al poder de la Dinastía Ming.

Tardó mucho en llegar pero el libro como tal está en perfectas condiciones y me encantó

Tardó en llegar además de que las páginas están de forma desigual por lo que estéticamente muy bello no es. Huele bien a libro, aunque la calidad de las páginas no es destacable, su portada es áspera al tacto y tiene algunas manchas de suciedad en los cantos. No se si todos serán asi o si es por la editorial, pero tengan eso en consideración antes de comprar
