(Barbastro, 1962) es autor de seis poemarios y su obra lírica se ha compilado en Amor (2010), en Poesía completa (2016) y en Una sola vida (2022). Su obra narrativa la inicia España, a la que le siguen Aire nuestro, Los inmortales, El luminoso regalo y los libros de relatos Zeta y Setecientos millones de rinocerontes.

Es autor del libro de viajes América, de Listen to me y de Lou Reed era español. Su novela Ordesa (2018) fue traducida a más de veinte lenguas y elegida libro del año por Babelia y obtuvo el Premio Femina, concedido en Francia a la mejor novela extranjera. Alegría (2019), traducida a varias lenguas, fue novela finalista del Premio Planeta. En 2021 publica Los besos. Nosotros es su novela más reciente y ha sido galardonada con el Premio Nadal de Novela 2023.
