She'd done her homework knowing that he was single, and he'd been in the pharmacy 7 years. Before that, ECU and was still enrolled there. The magic happened and unbelievably, by Christmas, they were engaged to be married come next June. He'd be at VCU in Richmond, VA for 5 months finishing his degree work. Then he could take the state test and be licensed as a pharmacist. Everything was falling in place, her Mountain Man, he was from Asheville, would be hers but she made a surprise visit in late March finding him at Nate's with that woman!
