Into His Presence is a fresh and unique view of the Lord's Prayer. It is a phrase-by-phrase look at the most often repeated words ever spoken on this planet, combined with a step-by-step walk through of the Old Testament Tabernacle. Each phrase resonates with a part of the Old Testament worship process; showing that Jesus wasn't just teaching His followers a prayer to repeat, but that He was giving them a pathway to the intimate presence of His Father. His Jewish followers would have been closely acquainted with this type of worship, and as with so many of Jesus' teachings, would have understood these words on a far deeper level than most modern Christians would recognize. This book builds a framework of understanding for the reader, first of the Tabernacle worship system and then each phrase of the Lord's Prayer; explaining its meaning for us as believers and its significance in relation to the corresponding Tabernacle station. Also included in each chapter is a prayer of 'entering in' for that step in the journey.
