In this age of Donald Trump, my personal experience with someone on the continuum of narcissism to psychopathy rings true to what we on a global scale are experiencing. Life with a psychopath offered a roller-coaster ride of morphing reality within the chaos of a tornado. Emotional devastation, financial decimation, and being discarded left me working with the unfathomable world of no compassion. My ordeal brought me to the other side where I discovered an amazing rekindling of faith and meeting of the most extraordinary souls. This is not to say how excruciatingly painful the "trek through the bowels of the Twilight Zone" really was. The two-dimensional life of being connected to such a presence left me a very different person. The gas lighting and denigration forged me into a tougher version of myself; however, more strident in my approach to offering hope to the underdog. However the experts differentiate narcissism and psychopathy, one point remains imminently viable: these beings create destruction and we must build our awareness and bolster our personal concept of faith and goodness.You can not only survive, but THRIVE. Courage!
