Buronson, seudónimo de Yoshiyuki Okamura (nacido el 16 de junio de 1947 en Saku, prefectura de Nagano, Japón), es un guionista de manga japonés reconocido por su trabajo en obras de acción y drama. Comenzó su carrera como asistente del mangaka Hiroshi Motomiya y debutó como guionista en 1972. Su primer gran éxito fue Doberman Deka (1975), ilustrado por Shinji Hiramatsu.

Su obra más conocida es Hokuto no Ken (El Puño de la Estrella del Norte), publicada entre 1983 y 1988, con ilustraciones de Tetsuo Hara. Esta serie se convirtió en un fenómeno cultural, vendiendo más de 60 millones de copias en todo el mundo . Buronson también colaboró con Kentarō Miura en títulos como Ōrō (1989) y Japan (1992), y con Ryōichi Ikegami en obras como Sanctuary (1990–1995), Strain (1997–1998) y Heat (1999–2004), esta última galardonada con el Premio Shōgakukan en 2002.
