With far less articulation and far more sardonic quipping, I have sought to draw similarities between the account of life and politics in 1790's France to that of both the early founding and modern regulatory and political whims witnessed in America. Unfortunately, the parallels drawn between countries and practices ring alarms in the logical processing of my mind.
