Dubai Zoo is the oldest zoo on the Arabian Peninsula. It is renowned for the excellent collection of animals housed there. But over the last few weeks, something strange has been going on. Saeed's meticulous eye for detail caused him to rise through the ranks at the zoo quickly. Starting as a lowly zoo assistant, Saeed now supervises the facilities and its staff. It was this eye for detail that caused him to notice new strange new behaviors in the animals. Saeed first noticed something odd with the monkeys. A sullen attitude had settled over the once entertaining primates. Saeed soon saw unsettling behaviors in other animals as well. Testing couldn't pinpoint any cause for these troubling behavioral changes. But strangely, they did show that some of the animal's skeletons seemed to have gained in density, they'd become stronger. And, some animals were even growing new canine teeth. When animals from the zoo are accidentally set loose, they violently attack; injuring and killing several people. The police respond, shooting and bagging some of the animals, returning them to the zoo. One dead bear suddenly rips through a bag. However, it is no longer a bear. Now it is enormous; its coloring changed, its eyes glowing red. It is now a savage monster and guns are useless against it. What is causing this nightmarish change in the animals? And, what can the police do about it? There is only one way to find out!
