In the book, the Pastor interacts with members of his trustee board, his deacons, church clerk, and the members on his outreach committee. The Pastor has a lot to do. He leads the church to the Lord by giving sermons, giving advice to boards, his members, the church ministries, praying for the sick and having weekly broadcasts of his church sermons televised locally. As an ordained Minister, he represents the church as the leader of his congregation. The church includes professionals from all career fields and his sermons let the people know that all are welcome in his church. In the first year of his ministry at a new church, he makes decisions on his own in emergency situations that were delegated to him by the boards. However, his main tasks are to listen, ensure the church ministries are operating efficiently, and the church services are carried out weekly.
