Es editora para América Latina de la revista mexicana Gatopardo. Retrato de un pianista, La otra guerra y La llamada. En 2010, su texto «El rastro en los huesos», publicado en El País y en Gatopardo, recibió el premio CEMEX+FNPI. Algunos de sus libros han sido traducidos al inglés, el francés, el italiano, el alemán, el portugués, el sueco y el polaco.
