This special edition of 'Collectanea Chemica: Select Treatises on Alchemy and Hermetic Medicine' was written by Eirenaeus Philalethes, and first published in 1893, making it 125 years old. This antiquarian text features sections on The Secret of the Immortal Liquor Called Alkahest, The Admiral Efficacy of the True Oil of Sulphur Vive, The Stone of the Philosophers, The Preparation of the Sophic Mercury, and more. This is an interesting old find and a fascinating read, but we heartily do not recommend trying any of the remedies herein!
