She watches Maria growing but still the relationship with Elliot remains strong. But when Elliot's health takes a turn for the worst he and Tess are shattered by heartbreaking news. As Tess struggles to cope under the pressure her family and best friends Maggie and Amanda try to make it easier for the couple. But when Maggie is suddenly caught in a road accident and Elliot's health fading fast Tess and Maria have to pull together to stay strong for a weak Elliot.
