Sarah and James go from ranch to ranch cutting agave plants for a few miserable coins. It's been a while since they left Chicago, where Sarah lost her little sister. Since then, they have learned how to work hard and keep their relationship hidden. When they finally manage to save some money for the home they have always dreamed of, a terrible accident forces them to flee to another ranch, a place that is reportedly haunted. Strange things begin to happen there, and the delicate equilibrium of their lives begins to give way. Survival, after all, comes at a very high price.
