After the unexpected death of her father, Elizabeth and her mother Susan find themselves struggling to survive in poverty. Mystical premonitions lead Elizabeth to a realm of nocturnal wonder, The Land of Noir, through a magic mirror she obtains. Mysterious and dangerous, yet Elizabeth finds herself inexorably drawn to the place where the sun never rises. Little does Elizabeth know, The Queen of Mist has broken the seal between Noir and our world, Lumiere, and when The Queen of Mist enters Lumiere, all we know and love will be lost. In the end we learn that staying true to yourself and the tenderness of the heart can be the weapons of warrior wizardry and that the more you give to others, the more you receive back.
